Introduction

Welcome to our care training organisation, where personal & continuous professional development go hand in hand. Our tailored focus on the various aspects of health and social care means that every care provision receives training for their workforce in a way which reflect the various needs of the service user group.

Our Aim

Our aim is to provide care training that responds to the needs of the service provision. Our experienced, skilled and professional training staff aim to work closely and flexibly with care providers in order to deliver care training within your own business premises. We offer competitive and  value for money course, with attractive discounts on regular advance bookings.

Training Delivery

Your workforce will benefit from training sessions which are tailor-made for your type of care provision and delivered at a pace suitable to the entire group of attendees. Sessions comprise face to face delivery using powerpoint presentation, incorporating group activities, tutor-guided exercises, selective inclusion of DVD viewing and interactive discussions. On some courses like Manual Handling & Emergency First Aid, attendees are required to complete both theoretical and practical components of the sessions and a written question paper. All practical equipment will be brought along by the trainer, except for wheelchairs, hoists and fire fighting equipment, which may have to be provided by the care provision requesting such training courses.

All sessions are delivered in line with National and CQC Guidelines and subject matter relate to evidence-based practice. We follow principles of person-centredness and personalisation and refer to best practice initiatives, to drive training sessions forward.

Arrangement for training session is flexible and we tend to keep to weekdays, 9am till 5pm. At the discretion of the trainer, Saturdays can sometimes be arranged for training delivery. Evening sessions can also be booked between 5pm  and 9pm. There is an advance booking system in place- [Click on 'Contact Us' at the top of this page to access the booking form]. No cancellation fee will apply if 24 hour notice is given during cancellation of a booked training session. Course fees are not charged per head, but a surcharge will apply if the agreed number of attendees has been surpassed. To browse through sessions you are interested in, click on 'Courses Delivered' at the top of this page. All attendees will be eligible for a certificate after satisfying the criteria for certification.

Our motto:

' What we learn to do we learn by doing...' [Aristotle 400 BC]. We believe that the care profession demands that the workers have to continually learn on the job and use reflection to improve their future practice. We therefore emphasise the Code of Practice and the notion of 'reflective inquiry' to all our trainees.

We invite you to try our organisation for the success of your care provision and see your workforce gain the right knowledge and skills so that they gain in confidence and become more occupationally competent. Remember, we provide only one kind of training; THE BEST! You will never want to leave us again!
